Aaah, that brings back memories of trips to away games and festivals in a 1965 Bedford, former laundry van! (Avoid sitting on the wheel arches in the back if you want to preserve the skin on your ariss).
When the Bodcan was drunk , it made a perfect bog.
Open the back doors and empy the contents on the A1.
Sleep 12 at a sweaty pinch! Abandoned in Belgium following a concert at Knebworth. Long story. ..

Ipswich away years ago
Transit broke down on a motorway somewhere on the way home
We ditched the van
A dozen of us hitched a lift in the back of a lorry to Oakham I think
Then a series of taxis back to Ilkeston
Memories!
