Remember him? The guy we took from Juve and loaned him to Southampton, Almeria and now Rayo Vallecano.
Tbh I only remember one EL game where looked quite promising when he came on, so I haven't seen too much of him.
Now its fair to say, Vallecano are really struggling in the Primera Division and Falque didn't participate too much (started 11 games) in their season.
Now this weekend, he started against Malaga and produced a masterclass. Each week Marca decide who has been 'El Mejor Jugador' of the week and they picked him ahead of Modric.
Link to his two goals on Saturday. Lovely dribbling and good finishing.

Anyway, lets hope he can kick on from that
For now, well done Iago

"Anyone know what happened to Ceballos??"
Not having a good time at Arouca.
And if 4-3-3 is out now, he will be gone soon enough.

Think of the Academy as a production line.
And every year you would want 1-2 kids coming into the seniors as 1-2 old-timers end their Spurs career.
At the moment there is a bit of a gap between the promising batch that includes Kane/Townsend/Carroll/Pritchard, and the current U18s. 2-3 years from now, as things are going, we might see that production line fully up and running.

Yeah I guess as long as it pays for itself (and hopefully turns up the odd star) it's all good, maybe if we turn out enough O'Haras and Caulkers we'll be able to make a real investment on first team players...
