Chelsea are rumoured to be rivalling Manchester City for the services of Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri.
After watching Man City play last night they looked really good, especially Aguero, Silva, Dzeko etc. Also Man City are looking to strengthen even more by signing Nasri.
Now we need a creative midfielder and I think we should go after Nasri and leave Modric. Nasri in my opinion is better than Modric and by the looks of things cheaper. Plus I think we would be preventing City getting a class player like we did with Aguero and looking even stronger to challenge for the premier league than before. Nasri has a good vision, pace, he is good at dribbling and he would provide some well needed flair to the midfield.
So what do you guys think, Should we make a offer for him?

Another moody French midfielder

In a word, no
We'd be looking at a fee of around £20 million. For a player free to talk to other clubs come January that is a crazy fee for a player not even that good
He's great at tearing the likes of West Brom and Villa to pieces but always goes awol when goings get tough-where was he against United and Chelsea last year?
Modric all the way

I'd prefer Modric

I really hope we stay well clear of Nasri. No where near the hype (which has died down a bit since being invisible in the run in last season).
Would much rather we give the game time to the talent we already have in midfield and bide out time for someone more fitting of a £20 million transfer fee.

If it was for 10-12 million yes. But for the price being talked about..no

Why do people keep using the Swansea game as a measure of Cities potential. Is this not the same City side that were destroyed by United in the Charity Shield?
I mean seriously people. Get a grip!

Not having a go. Apologies if it came out that way. Just want us to keep perspective.
