How can it not be after a performance like that. To show the spirit to keep going against the in form league leaders was brilliant.
What we need to do now is put that performance up in our next game and we'll put Fulham away. We need a few wins against the lower teams. No good getting points off the top teams and losing to Palace/Fulham etc...
I think Mel is finally working out what he's got to play with and what's going to be best to keep us up this year. And I think he'll do it. I also think the guy will take us up and up in the future, should we survive this year. He just needs his own tools (i.e players/coaches)
The players were fantastic tonight. Cant criticise any of them but will mention Thievy who looks the bo11ox and Big Vic, who yet again came on and changed things. Hate to say ' I told you so '...but I told you he'd be a big player for us!!!
Also...the Smethwick was absolutely buzzing tonight. Even 0-1 down we were well up for the fight and got behind the boys. We got our rewards in the end and the ground was bouncing at the end. Nice to tell where Jose where to get off aswell 😃
Unbeaten in 3 home games in a row Vs Chelsea now and unbeaten against them this season.
Now let's make this count and batter Fulham next time out!
Believe! BAGGGGGGIESSSSSS 🙌
Glass half full...

I'm rather hoping that whilst Ridgewell is in Spain he acquires a very slight case of concussion and when he comes round Pepe tells him he is a combination of Roberto Carlos, Ashley Cole, Jordi Alba and Philip Lahm. Then I can stop having panic attacks

Am I the only one who is 99.999999999% certain we will be fine? With Olsson, Sess, Anelka and Billy coming back and with SS still to get up to match fitness I firmly believe we will finish mid table.
We have by far the best midfield outside of the top 7/8, our first team defence is better than most bar Ridge and upfront we have multiple options with different strengths. We are probably the only team in the bottom half who can look to our bench to completely switch up the play and Mel has shown he has no problem doing that.
Sorry wo1ve5 your wait for the BCD will have to go on for another season yet

I can't make my mind up Woy. The fact that we've not lost that many games suggests we're a decent side but we can't continue to keep drawing games we should win.
Anything but 3 points against Fulham and I may start to have my doubts because we're running out of games.

Fulham game is huge.
Win that and I think we'll go on and end the season well. Lose and I think it's going to be nervy and will go right down to the wire.
Like the positivity though

Tbf.
Sessegnon
Olsson
Jones
Anelka
All expected back for Fulham. Thievy, Berahino and Anichebe looking good. Yacob and Mozza looking good and keeping Mulumbu out the team.
Pepe is getting grips with his team.
Much reason for optimism 😄

True JH but I feel we're on a tightrope between success and failure.
A lot of positives but it could all count for nothing if we lose our next 3 games.

Fulham at home is now a must-win game. Lose that, and we don't deserve to be in the Premier League.

Aries, like you mucka I've been supporting the Baggies for many, many years and in all that time our beloved Baggies have suffered from a tendancy to be cràp against poor teams and brilliant against the top ones.
So, as much as I hope it doesn't happen, it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't beat Fulham as you quite rightly say, its a must win game and we need three points not just one.
They need a hypnotist to convince the team that Fulham are top of the table !

Fulham have sacked a manager and employed a new one tonight.
First game in charge is against us.
Typical

Hi JH, I didn't see this post, hence my article. And yeah, just our luck, eh!
