I just want to see the players give 100% during these upcoming "fixtures of death" (or whatever..). Lately our disappointing results haven't just been poor from a points perspective but in certain games we've really lacked heart and conviction - that is simply not good enough. Give their all, be focused from the off and lets see what happens.
United tomorrow should be a win, they are worse than us, we're at home and need to get this awful United bogey team status out of our system.
Liverpool in the FA cup will be a very different game to Saturday and this Wednesday and I fully expect Wenger to rotate the starting 11 - at least slightly.
In the Bayern games (IMO) we should have no fear as it's theirs to lose. They're the best side in the world and if they play at their best we'll not stand a chance. Lets just go out and enjoy this one, play to our best and see what happens. I'm predicting they knock us out comfortably.
Chelsea away isn't impossible to win but it's certainly unlikely. Much like beating United we need to get this Mourinho monkey off our back. We may have a few important players back by then so it should be very competitive.
For the City game we've got a weeks rest. They're on a bit of a wobble just now but are still the most dangerous side in the league IMO. They turn up with a fit Aguero and we could be in for trouble.
We need to win all our other games, don't care how we win them but we must take 3 points every time and to be fair to the team we've generally done that.
IMO we won't win the league this season but we absolutely must run this one close. No more fighting for fourth. As much as our squad MAY have overachieved in a some ways during our frugal years the money excuse has to take a back burner. We'll never be able to spend as much as the clubs buying their way to success (and basically cheating) but we now have the funds to strengthen our squad properly. Wenger has failed big time in that respect in the last two windows. Not because we aren't doing well at the moment but because we could be doing far far better in certain areas with just a couple of astute signings.
Over to you Arsene and the boys
The BIG games

I agree with some of what u have said, but also feel ur being very negative, if arsenal drew like Chelsea had today it would be the end of the world, the media, arsenal fans and other supporters take any arsenal blip way out of perspective, this season was the one season in years we were able to spend big, and what happened, we were sitting top most of the season, tomorrow we can beat united, and go top again, we need to be more positive as fans, you realise negativity rubs of on people, every one has the internet, mostly, including 20 odd year olds playing for arsenal, they read stuff and hear negative stuff all the time, we need to get behind the team, we have a great chance to prove them all wrong. no more of this we wont, we can win the league.!!

Fully agree with what you're saying but in this instance I'm intentionally not trying to be negative or positive just give my honest opinion of what will, could, should and shouldn't happen in these games. If we are there or there abouts come the end of the season I will be very happy regardless of whether we've come away with a trophy or not.
I, like many fans just want Arsenal to improve year on year. We've been somewhat stagnating/going backwards in recent seasons. Now with new financial muscle it's time to step up and so far this season we certainly have. I just hope we push on.

I don't like thinking too far ahead, because you just don't know what circumstances might throw up. Tonights United game is a must win. They're not the strongest United side we've ever faced, but the threat of the front 3 is clear. We need to clear out the Liverpool thrashing out of our system and put up a good defensive shift.
I agree with your last paragraph though. We won't win the league but we need to put up a serious fight to prove to others and ourselves that we can challenge. This starts with tonight. If we can bag the 3 points, we'll be back on top and heading towards the next 2 fixtures with better confidence. Let's hope we don't bottle it tonight.

Arsenal drew 1-1 earlier this season vs WBA and many took it as a good point and decent result. But lets not get in the way of AKBs making something out of nothing.
