Fulham host Liverpool on Wednesday night in the Barclays Premier League.

The Cottagers are rooted to the bottom of the table currently, despite an excellent defensive display at Old Trafford on Sunday which saw them claim a point due to a late equaliser. Fulham will remain in the bottom three even if they win, but they would lift themselves off the bottom of the table and above Cardiff City.

Liverpool could not have wished for a better result to come into this game, as they thrashed Arsenal 5-1 on Saturday to move to within just five points of the Gunners. If results go Liverpool's way tonight, they could end the day just four points from the top of the league.

Fulham are without Fernando Amorebieta (knock), Matthew Briggs (hernia) and Kostas Mitroglou (fitness).

Liverpool have doubts over Daniel Agger (calf) and Glen Johnson (knock), while Sebastian Coates (knee), Jose Enrique (knee), Lucas (knee) and Mamadou Sakho (hamstring) miss out.
