The recent form of John Terry (prior to his injury lay-off) and his partnership in the middle of the Chelsea back four alongside Derbyshire's own Gary Cahill has raised the same old question surrounding apparently retired international footballers: is he likely to be in the final squad selected by Roy Hodgson for the 2014 FIFA World Cup? They formed a back four that had only conceded 20 goals before he was injured.
In the BBC's article, Roy Hodgson pays homage to the formidable former Derby County centre-half pairing of Todd and McFarland from the 1970s.

Thanks for humouring me, it's much appreciated. I was going with the authority that according to the film "Mike Bassett: England Manager", the ROI are the England 'B' team.
I'd love to be able to look back on these next few seasons in the 2040s and have something genuine to reminisce about, akin to people I know who remember the '70s with such zest!

I had always thought Keogh was genuine Oirish because he looks Irish. Hadn't ever heard him til Monday so I'm with TBR on this. Keogh and Bucko for England. Change the rules. Now!
