I still say Vidic & Rio are better than Evans & Jones, regardless of how well Man Utd are doing at the moment.

exactly! thats was what Giggs_Deserves_To_Be_Knighted was replying too and hes right the answer is still no. this has been the first season when i have not been worried that both players have been missing as we now have great cover for both players.

Jones & Smalling have fitted in extremely well, i have to say.

And to think, had Rio & Vidic been fit, Jones would probably have only got games in the CC & in the easier CL group games.

loved adebayor's first goal. i knew he would start well, as he always does at a new side, but its later in the season when you will see whether he was a good acquisition, because his form does tend to drop after a good start.

that's a very weak argument.

Fair enough you won/win. But it has almost nothing to do with the cover at defence and their performances. It's really down to bad finishing by opposition and a high scoring attack.
