Giroud Is So Awfulllllll!!!!

He is the worst main striker we've ever had under Wenger even Chamakh was better than this donkey. Every big game that comes this clown does nothing but miss chance after chance and give away ball after ball. I used to to think he'd be very good 2nd choice, but usually good 2nd choices come on in the big games to try and swing the result but this clown would never do that. He's on par with Jeffers and Aliaidiere!

Sick and tired of people saying he's helped us get this far no he hasn't our defence has and midfield Giroud's held us back all season cost us at City, then Chelsea now tonight but it doesn't surprise me. I've been open to Wenger signing a new deal but failure to address this situation in jan showed he threw away our title hopes. Oh yeah and we're not in the title race anymore our annual february crumble is in full process and it's the same old! Ozil was a fortunate panic buy he wouldn't be here if we beat Villa on the first day jan showed Wenger is scared of spending. Berbatov would have done. Bedntner/Sanogo/Podolski absolutely have to start vs Liverpool in our best chance of a trophy to ensure we're not playing with 10 men again.

Giroud is 3rd choice for any title chasing teams. Eto'o is better than him as Oli would never score a hat-trick Vs United there's about 20 strikers in this league better than him and we went for none of them!

Giroud does the work against the small teams, can't defend him against the big though. Bottles it big time.

We don't play to Giroud's strength's at all when there is no Theo or Podolski - he thrives off midfield runners to work with, and there was none of that tonight.

That is a bit beside the point given that we Giroud is not a striker that in any way fits Wenger's footballing paradigm. The point is, if Giroud is not good enough/a bad fit, then it is Wenger's fault for not remedying the problem by either changing the way we play, or more realistically buying a striker that actually suits our needs.

Don't blame a player for being poor if they are pushing themselves to their limits - blame the manager for continuing to play them.

This is a load of bull. You all have short memories. Remember the start of the season where Giroud was pretty much the best striker in the league. Its nothing to do with him not suiting us its just he relies far too heavily on confidence. A bit like Gervinho.

Strikers in this league better than Giroud:
Aguero
Suarez
Dzeko
Negredo
Jovetic
Sturridge
Rooney
Hernandez
RVP
Adebayor
Remy
Eto'o
Luakaku
Benteke
J Rodriguez
Lambert

Noone thought he was the best striker in the league, and if you look at where he scored those goals, most where due to a winger providing a low cross to the near post.

How many of those go into the box from us now. I counted 1 today, and he got the closest to scoring. But still bottled it.

However the number of those has dropped dramatically , since Caz has come back we play so centrally it's limited Giroud terribly.

What strengths? Is finishing sitters not playing to his strengths? Considering his position he's in the wrong sport then

What clueless clown said Giroud was even ever top 5 in the league never mind the best. Thought the agreement was if we could get to jan with this donkey up top then he would've done okay now a whole season with this idiot means we'll end up empty handed as usual but as long as top 4 is secured Wenger doesn't give a toss
