Hope its true but I have my doubts. What's in it for UWE? It also mentions South Glos council. How can they afford any investment in the current climate? Finally do you think Sainsbury's would get planning permission to build on the mem? Not in a million years IMO.

When i am sitting in it i will believe it......

But could this be the carrot that got us Buckle. Because i still don't understand why he joined us to be honest.

As for UWE/South Glos, think about Womens Bristol Academy as part of it as well.

Banksy does not have an 'e' in it numb nuts!

Do you really think Sainsburys would get planning permission to build on the MEMORIAL stadium after all the fuss about Tesco a couple of miles away.

You have also sold out the Rugby club despite all the help they gave you when you were desperate.

Nice little family club aren't you?

I did read something on brfcforums on how the original planning application had retail facilities are part of the build. Could this be a back door into planning permission?
To be totally honest i don't think they should be able to build a supermarket there. Supermarkets should not be built in the center of housing in my mind.
However the location of the new ground would make sense with good access to the motorway. Plus we are not trying to build on greenbelt either.
But as i said when i am sitting in it i will believe it.

BanksEy without us the Rugby club would be playing home games at Reading's stadium. Why don't you invite 'em down to the village green?

BanksEy,
You have posted twice on this thread making digging comments and as usual you don't have any of the facts.

Bristol Rovers bought a half share of the ground form our Egg chasing friends with the clause if one went out of business the other could buy the other half of the ground for 10K. Ever wonder why they were willing to sell us the half? I would gather they needed the money, wouldn't you?
However i do think Bristol Rugby should be part of the new ground not because i think its right (which i think it is), but because it makes good business sense.

So BanksEy, go pop off and chat to your best mate Wizered i am sure you both can talk enough drivel somewhere else

Ta Ta!
