Morning lads!
I missed the game last night and have only read the reports and seen goal highlights. I had a few questions...
1. How was Kaboul? I know it's hard to judge against an awful Newcastle team but could his presence finally settle our back 4?
2. Are the tactics Timmy used sustainable? There was a lot of power in the midfield and personally I liked the look of it!
Let's talk about it!
What did we learn?

Morning Guys, I watched the game at 2am this morning after getting back from Cyprus.
Thought we looked much more positive than V Everton on Sunday. Kaboul looked a tad rusty but had some very good momements & his enthusiasm & pleasure at playing were there for all to see. If we can just keep him fit, it is not only like signing a new player, he could just be the difference needed in the run in.
Once again Lloris looked strong & so did Verts
Ade has been tremendous (most of the time) since his return from exile, and whilst they were not the greatest goals you will see, it is nice for us to get the rub of the green for a change.
Chadli's goal was superb, a lot of fans don't like him however I think he is one of those players that grow on you gradually & could become an important member of the squad.
Nice touches too from Soldado in his short cameo role. With regard to Dembele, he looked quicker than usual last night or was it just my imagination or even slanted highlights?
Whilst I am not certain Sherwood is the man to take us forward, hats off to him last night & his team selection. I do hope he actually proves me wrong!

Timmy's line up and formation had me scratching my head at the start. When you're left questioning the manager and you come away with an excellent result then you simply have to salute them for proving you wrong.
It wouldn't work in the majority of games but I'm glad Timothy is mixing things up and having success with it, rather than sticking stubbornly to the 4-4-2. Shows he's adapting.

Genius.
Completely agree. I think we gambled that with them in awful form and missing half their best players we could afford to be very attacking and still deal with them breaking on us. You're totally right though if we played like that against a better team they'd have scored a few.
Windy always said Sherwood was a lot more tactical than people gave him credit. Yes he talks like 'arry but I think he's really different. He's adjusted the team a lot depending on who we play.
Also it's lovely to see us finally just trounce a team, a massive win, we have a tough run coming, but so do all the teams around us. This could have geuninely be the match that really kicks us into gear
