Just listened to Cardiff vs Wigan on Talksport and Wigan sounded good value for their win. Cardiff sounded nothing like the results machine they were last season.
This means our game up there on Saturday 8th March will be moved.
Real shame as we would have taken 5k+ on a Saturday. We've been a bit unlucky with away game scheduling. With Sheff Weds, Birmingham and Barnsley all midweek. Bolton moved from Easter Monday to Tuesday, Wigan now midweek and the derisory allocation from Forest it's no wonder the away average is slightly down despite the great season so far.
There's 6 games there that we could have taken 4-5k to in different circumstances.
Wigan away to be moved

Would've been a great away day as well.

To be fair, we have given the same allocation to every team, as we are looking to move the away fans, and this is the best way we can do it atm, so we are not just picking on you as the sheep thought we were doing as well.
Was funny that they are copying us and had to spitefully give us a smaller allocation as well

Really gutted at this. The only small positive being another game for one of the best teams we have left to play

My issue with it is that we gave you 3200! It'd have been fair to give us the same. Whether that meant more of the lower Bridgeford or a bit of the Brian Clough stand I think you should have done it.
Looking forward to it though as I'm one if the lucky 2k.

I understand why the reduced away tickets issue is happening, obviously, although it really isn't a very friendly thing to do; not that that matters to Billy Davies of course. Neither is it a particularly practical thing to do from a safety matter, as it increases the chances of large away followings spilling over into the home end.
Derby's response is quite petty but rather understandable. Overall, I'd prefer if we didn't do it if we're in the same league next year.

As for Wigan being moved, that's not good for us as it'll mean a fixture pile-up at some point, probably meaning 5 matches in 15 days at some point in April.

Nigel Clough has just made my day

I'd happily see us adopt a similar policy and give away supporters as little as possible

Not me. On the face of it, it looks like a tactic designed to make your home ground a fortress. In reality it just makes you look scared of away support and is likely to just rile larger crowds while building you a reputation for being a nasty club.
