Too many teams set up to not concede and thats it. We need to stop rewarding that type of football. Basically no goals no points. If you score you get a point. You could be losing 2 0 with 10 minutes but still have a point to play for. Id go further and say you get 2 points if you score 3 goals.
3 points for a win. No point for 1 goal for winning team though.
1 point for 1 goal for either losing/drawing team.
1 points for either team who scores 3 goals.
Each game potentially awards upto 4 points for a winning team and upto 3 points for a draw.
This would really freshen up the league and give the SPL a uniqueness across Europe.
Playing for a draw

No reason why we cant. Theres plenty of things that could done to improve the league. But nothing will ever change. So frustrating!

Rugby does it..

__________
That must be why Rugby Union is such a good game to watch, with lots of fluid running and passing and absolutely no stop-start-stop-start with a 'penalty' every few minutes --
Hang on a second!

Although I don't like defensive football any more than most, you have to accept that it is often a real skill. And surely 0-0 draws have their own place in the game. Think England against Italy in Rome, for instance, in the qualifying stages of the 1998 World Cup. Dramatic in a different way.

If it's your team playing for a draw it's usually ok and a skill. If it's the opposing team it is pash park the bus stuf

I's also put in a losing bonus point if the losing team scores, say 3 goals.

It is a skill but not an attractive skill thats attractive to watch and certainly wont bring in big TV deals Or the fans back.
I put a point for 1 goal and a further point for 3 goals. So a losing team could get 2 points.
