Goodness me, aren't some of you Liverpool fans bitter. As far as I'm concerned Arsenal are through to the next round, I couldn't care less whether Liverpool were the better side or not. I doubt that many other Arsenal fans will be bothered either.

Arsenal won, Liverpool lost. Accept it. That's cup football for you.

Wednesday is different. We know already we're against one of the best clubs in the world and that anyone who faces them has a realistic chance of getting battered, and as it's a massive contest and a rare chance against such a team, we're hopefully that morale and desire off the back of this win will be high, whatever the result. The 5-1 was destroying because a) there wasn't an ounce of fight in our performance, and b) no disrespect, but it was against a team we truly didn't expect to lose to by a margin of that magnitude.

Liverpool fans begging for class after they mugged us off during the 5-1, sure that was a bigger win but it's still three points versus a cup win, both could mean fúck all by the end of the season or they could mean everything.

Honestly, I can't recall seeing such a set of bitter fans after we have beaten them this season. You lot should be embarrassed. Don't understand what all the hating is about, it was a very exciting game, best match in the cup so far this season and you came out 2nd best in it. Deal with it.

I thought Liverpool played into our hands, even as the away team, you were obviously going to come flying out of the blocks at us & we countered very well.

The bitterness of some is laughable though, you do realise this will probably help your league aspirations no end

Did you stick around to shout abuse at the BT Sport guys? I would have. Not Jens obviously.

It was indeed a very good game.

How much cràp have we had from Arsenal fans over the years? It's no wonder debate gets a bit heated after games. I wouldn't call it bitter though. We're no doubt going to be disappointed after a loss, especially when we should have had a blatant penalty which would have made it 2-2.

It's also still funny that an Arsenal fan who are on the whole (apart from handful of decent posters) the most obnoxious and arrogant on here asking others for humility.

Well done for winning. After we embarrassed you last week I expected you to be up for the game and expected you to win. Hope you go on to beat Everton
