According to 'The Daily Star', Isco failed to settle at Real Madrid.
He is such a fantastic player, 21 too! (If I am not mistaken)
Do you believe he would be suitable for the striker role? He currently plays CAM so the transition will not affect him a lot.
Isco

Why'd they sell Isco when he's pretty much ozils replacement. Lazy journos. I think he's been struggling with fitness or that's what I heard anyway.
I would also take Alexis. World class player. Could do a job playing as either false 9 or as a lone striker.

Even if (big IF) he was available and wanted to leave, he would most likely join City and be re-united with Pelligrini

"Although he is a brilliant CAM, he does possess various attributes to be converted into a striker."
Like what attributes?
--------------------------------------------------
He has the pace, vision, shot, skilfull and many more. He does not have that physical presence that scares the shayt out of the back four like Giroud/Sanogo/RVP/Rooney and many more.

Can see why you say that but like hazard I don't think he'd ever make a striker. He has too much quality that would be wasted upfront.

Those aren't the only attributes strikers need. Many attacking midfielders have them. Doesn't mean they should become strikers. Isco needs to be on the ball looking to create or feed off strikers in support. Not ghosting around waiting for the ball to arrive.

Isco is one of Real's best players in a 4231, but unfortunately for him Real are better in a 433. They have Bale and Ronaldo who have to play.
He has played very well everytime he has played, its a terrible bit of journalism to be honest.

Hate what Madrid does to so many promising players.

Reason I asked that question is that imo it's a bit of a worn cliché that I often see rolled out, but I honestly don't think that Madrid are any more guilty of chewing up and spitting out prospects that any other big club.
I think the most notable previous example was Canales, who was signed before Mourinho came in and who Mourinho then decided was of no use to us. He then sustained two successive ACL injuries, so even is his case it's arguable whether Madrid actually ruined him or not. Sahin might be another case, but if you take a look, Madrid have also signed a lot of youngsters who've kicked on - Higuaín, Ozil, Benzema, Di María, Marcelo or Varane would be a few examples in recent years.
All this without mentioning the fact that perhaps not all of the signings were as good as initially thought. I'm sure you could name a few that Arsenal have signed in recent times.

clichés are clichés because they are often right.
We have broken bread on this matter and agreed more than disagreed.
I do agree though that RM are not the only ones guilty of this. It gets highlighted more because of the profile of the player and the club.
