This is The Baggie Man
Saturday 22 February could prove to be one of the most pivotal dates in recent West Brom history. Losing to Fulham is not an option. Drawing with Fulham is not an option either but given our history of playing badly against the poorer teams in the division it would hardly be a surprising result.
Recent fixture results:
01.01.2013 West Bromwich Albion 1-2 Fulham
24.09.2011 West Bromwich Albion 0-0 Fulham
23.10.2010 West Bromwich Albion 2-1 Fulham
04.10.2008 West Bromwich Albion 1-0 Fulham
03.12.2005 West Bromwich Albion 0-0 Fulham
18.09.2004 West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Fulham
31.08.2002 West Bromwich Albion 1-0 Fulham
Not the best record
Olsson and Billy should be back and maybe Anelka. Sess is still recovering from the small op at the end of January.
Foster
Jones GMac Olsson Ridgewell
Mulumbu Yacob
Thievy Morrison Brunt
Berahino
Subs: Myhill, Dawson, Anichebe, Sinclair, Vydra, Amalitano, Anelka/Gera
We need a 95min performance from the team to lift us someway out of the relegation threat. Bring on Big Vic if we are losing or drawing after 60 mins.

Well, what a dreadful 90 min performance. No width, no movement, no ball retention, poor passing, awful crossing when we did get it out wide, too many high balls and no real threat on goal.
That display was at best, worthy of a mid- table Championship team. As I have often said, we perform against good teams but are carp against the poor ones - always have been, always will be.
The only bright thing today was the Sunderland & Cardiff results.

McAuley, Gera and Anichebe were good. Brunt too and Morrison in flashes.
Berahino and Ridgewell. Dreadful.

This must mean we've already overtook you . . . must admit, when we got relegated to tier 3 and you were 8th (?) in tier 1 I was expecting it to take a bit longer than 2/3rds of a season

Last time I checked you were 29 places below us.

How have you overtaken us? You're still in Division Three.
And it's 'overtaken', not 'overtook'.

Ha, if only it were that easy to catch tench . . .
and a s a general rule I shun pedantry since it is the last refuge of the small-minded but as you started it . . .
it's League One not Division Three . . . and furthermore I think in terms of common usage 'overtaken' and 'overtook' are interchangeable but if it eases some of the pain you are clearly feeling, I will concede the point . . . oftentimes it is better to be kind than right.

You still haven't explained how you (in League One) have overtaken us (assuming we're in the Championship). Go on, you can do it.
And no, overtaken and overtook are not interchangeable.

Aries, the only language they understand is 'Dinglese' so I'll give that a go:
"Yow ther Mangow? Or are yow slinkin' around yum Dingle Dens thinkin' youm better than the Mytie Baggies coz if yow are, youm countin' yum chickins bayfower they 'atch agin. Youm Dingles will nevr bay as good as the Mytie Baggies an in youm 'earts yow now it. Youm just Division 3 carp"

He won't be back with anything sensible, Baggie Man. He was just talking the usual load of envious Wolves búllshit.
