James Taylor has scored yet another century for the England Lions against Sri Lanka A, this has surely secured his place in the selectors eye, and being only 21, he's got a huge future ahead of him, I really hope he does well.

Agreed mate but sadly the slectors are obsessed with a brainless county plodder by the name of Bopara.

A 21 year old who's been made captain of the Lions can hardly be said to have been ignored.
Coming up are 11 ODI's, five in India.

He will get in the one day squad for sure this time.
Anyone know why Moeen Ali doesnt get any recognition even for the Lions? He has been piling the runs this year and in particularily in the limited overs format?

Mo is a very talented player Kash, the problem he has is despite all his talent he has no idea what balls to leave and what to play at outside the off stump. He also struggles with shot selection and gets out so many times to stupid shots he has no need to play. He's 23/24 now so not sure if he will eliminate from his game, or go if he will go the same way as Solanki, real talent but no idea how to use it properly.

Dolly i guess you would know better then most and lets hope he doesn't go the Solanki and Shah route and works on his game. The way the England test team is it will probably we unlikly but in the one day team there could be an opportunity granted the likes of Stokes and Taylor are ahead of him.

He's at his best opening in the one day game, but there are better and younger one day openers around right now, i think when he was about 20 he was earmarked possibly, but i think he will struggle now. Fantastic player to watch though, just a bit frustrating at times.
