Roy hasn't played 4-4-2 since the Euros.
If you are going to mock him, at least be relevant.

He'll still stick will Welbeck

Sterling and Januzaj are wide players, Barkley is a central midfielder.
Why are you comparing Barkley to players with a different role altogether?

Ironic that for yrs england have been playing 442 or variant of without proper wingers, yet now we actually have proper wingers we dont play 442; you couldnt make it up!

As a side note all 3 could line up for england....roy is a lucky boy.

I thought they declared that Januzaj couldn't play for us until 2018? We opted out for the rule that allowed us to take on younger players.

We shouldn't even consider Januzaj until the day he says he wants to play for England (and I think that is highly unlikely given his background and family loyalties). It's disloyal and disrespectful to all the players who have nailed their colours to the England mast!
It's quite a balancing act for a manager to retain loyalty to players who have done the business and got the team to Brazil and to look at 'in form' players. You only have to look at the media campaign for who were the inform Lallana and Lambert who seem to have gone off the boil and Southampton have dropped to 8th on 39 points.
Having said that, I think the blistering form of Sterling - as long as he can maintain it - should make him a shoe-in to the England squad

Good point @Fanfield
I totally agree with you.

Stats like this always amaze me, around 1 tackle in 90 mins, crazy.

Roy's probably dreaming about which one of those 3 he can break first by playing them when not quite fit.

Hope Brendan doesn't overplay him like he did last year when he was going to Wembley and so on. The lad is still young yet.
