I have no comments on his face but he should face up to what he has done to this fantastic club with a long and proud history.

Embarrassing thread. Picked up the team in 18th place and now 19th. There is no money and never has been for DF. Not even able to generate revenue with the mess he inherited. He has been tactically naive far too often. However serious damage was done before he began. Or am I being too logical and should I just sling irrevalant insults.

I couldn't agree more Cravies, he had some talented players here and has failed to get the best out of them for a long time. I can't help thinking if we go on another run like we did last season it will again be on the back of loan signings who we'll lose in the summer and we'll be back to square one.
Frankly I think DF has proved he simply isn't up to the job despite yesterday being arguably our best performance of the season. I give him credit for not ducking the issue of fan unhappiness but the fact is he has created much of it himself.
Yes he's got no money to work with but we have players like Lee and Eagles who are premiership class on their day looking like league two has beens under his command. Gartside and Freedman need to go imo.

Lee and Eagles who are premiership class on their day

That's all on paper. The fact that saying you are good has to be matched by being good. We would literally give these two away to get them off our wage bill. No one wants them. Bolton fans are doing something no one else in football is, over rating players. This then means we take their failings out on DF. A manager who would contribute to their departures they have let him down so often.
I am also not convinced DF is the right man. Not because I see him as being useless, just that this job is too big for him. In a bad way. Bolton did not need someone with potential. That failed massively with Coyle. They needed what many were against and that's an experienced Championship manager.

I agree that saying you're good isn't enough Cravies BUT those two in particular have proven their ability at times which makes the woeful way they have by and large played under Freedman all the more annoying.
I know some will say it's not all his fault and I do understand that BUT it's his job to find some way to motivate the players, something he hasn't done.
Freedman has the same two bsic faults as Sammy Lee, Gary Megson and Owen Coyle before him.
One, he fails to get the best out of our players, in fact he seems unable to motivate them when on paper they should have been taking us into play off contention at the very least.
Two, he has a one dimensional approach to football and fails to adapt his tactics or strategy according to the opposition. Lee and Coyle went all out attack and nothing else, Megson and Freedman play dire negative stuff thatfails just as badly.
However, as much as I believe Freedman must go I believe even more that the man who has now selected FOUR consecutive failures has got to pay for that. Gartside needs to be booted out and a competent chairman and board need to be appointed before a FIFTH consecutive failure is brought into the dressing room.

Read DF's CV
It probably explains his face. Perplexed and wondering how the hell he pulled it off for so long. Things are also bad at home his Mrs has entered him into the allotments grand marrow competition and Gazza is not picking up, he's lost without somebody to help him out you know.
This pretending to be a football manger lark gets to you in the end.
