hi guys
Putting sentiment to one side and not letting your heart rule your head concentrating more on logic as it were i would be interested to hear who people think will actually win this yrs driver"s championship and the reasons behind your thought process
at this moment in time it is just about impossible to pick a favourite due in no small part to the uncertainty about the reliability , power output , fuel consumption and the balance between power and fuel consumption that the engine manufactures have managed to bestow on there respective engines -
without a doubt mercedes have won the winter world championships but as we know the season will be full of twists and turns so merc along with every other team will have there share of belly up races before the big bananas are handed out in november or before -
however ------ if somebody held a gun to my head i have a sneaking feeling alonso will finally prevail over everybody else , ferrari historically normally get there engine correct and now it would seem they have finally sorted out there correlation / wind tunnel problems there is every possibility they will at last have a good chassis and a sound basis for development as the season progresses ,
If this is the case i believe with red bull which effectively means vettel in disarray , ferrari with alonso have one very , very , smart driver who can fully take advantage of his ( maybe ) at long last competitive ferrari and red bulls before mentioned disarray to build up a points cushion before renault and red bull get there act together as they probably will during the early part of the season -
-------------- any thoughts -
who will prevail ?

I'd love to see an all-out wheel-to-wheel scrap between Hamilton and Button for the title.
That being said, I'm also excited about seeing Alonso and Raikkonen battling it out as team-mates.
Magnussen looks more impressive with each test and I can't wait to see how Rosberg will do in a car he could win the championship in.
As for who will prevail: honestly I have no idea.

For me, its a Mercedes win, i think Hamilton is better than rosberg, so for me i think Hamilton will.
Button 2nd Rosberg 3rd, alonso 4th

have to agree with you -- at the minute it is very hard not to imagine the merc drivers being on the money all season -
will be fascinating to see which of the drivers can best adapt his style to find the optimum fuel / pace / mileage combination with the limited fuel available -
hopefully all the engines will have similar performance across all the different parameters and we can see who"s who and what"s what --

My head says it will be Vettel, RedBull have won 4 titles, they are not suddenly crap. They will get the car working.
I would like to see a scrap between Alonso/Hamilton/Kimi/Button/Rosberg though

man devil
for the sake of the spectacle we all want red bull to get it right ,
i just have a sneaking feeling that by the time that renault and red bull do that some of cars with the merc donkey ( engine) and the two ferrari walla"s could have built up a bit of a points cushion to vettel which possibly may leave the german a little short come divvy up time in november -
i agree it is just about impossible to call , hamilton is in with a very good shout as testing suggests he will hit the ground running , just hope his little plastic pop tart does not shuv his P45 where the sun dont shine as i personally think he will have a very good season if his mind is right -
