Spurs the Entertainers

I haven't got one but imagine playing City on Sunday after playing on Thursday. No chance.

Our players are weak and get injured all the time. It happens every season. Liverpool have a smaller squad but better quality. Saurez missed 7 or 8 games but still top goal scorer. Sturridge missed nearly 6 weeks but is still banging them. The difference is quality and management.

Using the Thursday games as an excuse is a poor one IMO if our players had any balls whatsoever it would make no difference.

Not that long ago we played away in Spain on a Thursday and had a midday kick off in the FA Cup away to Chelsea. We drew at Chelsea after being 3-1 up but lost at WHL after having a lot longer rest period.

I personally cannot stand this "excuse" about the Europa cup nobody would be complaining if it was a Wednesday CL game and we were playing again on Saturday and thats the same rest period.

Excuses for not being good enough annoy the hell out of me.

I remember that Chelsea game. It was in the Berba days. Might have played Seville. I also remember the last 20mins our legs went and we were lucky not lose. Chelsea had an off day.

Again if Jol had not made crap substitutions we would have won that game and Defoe should have sealed it anyway.

how can anyone lose a semi final 5-1. spurs are such a disgrace some times.

how many fa cups have there been? they are virtually always close games, one or two goals in it max.

i bet no one has got walloped in a semi final before we lost 5-1 to chelsea since we lost 4-1 to everton
