Adrian Durham (sigh) is adamant that City's performance last night was better than Barcelona.
I agree that they played very well, and I enjoyed watching the match. But to compare them to a team that closes down all over the pitch and make 800 passes a game to a team that sit back in their own half and wait is bunk.
Barcelona's victories always come as an excellent team performance (unless when Messi fancies dancing from halfway), juxtaposed to City's win resulting from a few great individual performances - Silva, Dzeko, Aguero.
Also consider the opposition, Swansea offered little, albeit held some nice possession early on. Barcelona walked all over Manchester United in a European Cup Final.
So, I think City's display should worry every Premier League team, but remains short of Barcelona even if the differing styles are compared. What do you think?
Is anyone listening to TalkSPORT?!

Ha, yeah just heard that caller.
I'm not putting City down, but the oppositon wasn't brilliant, and it got a bit easy by the end.
Was hardly reminiscent of Barcelona 5-0 Madrid.
