Not a great performance but a 2-0 win. Wallace and Daly the scorers. A couple of good saves by Cammy Bell. Good effort by Stranraer.

Never looked like losing but the performance was dire yet again.
Obviously in terms of the league, results are all that really matter. But with the Scottish Cup games coming up, I was hoping several players would raise their level and try and force their way into the team. Sadly its not happened.
Also, I imagine thats the first time Steven Smith has played with a number 10 on his back. Hopefully the last too.

A couple of different guys got a chance, didn't do all that great but at least they got some game time. I'd expect Templeton to come back in soon.

The ones who did come in did themselves no favours.
Peralta is a total hot head. I think he was red carded the last time he started. Could easily have been off again tonight.
Smith and Foster did nothing other than give the ball away for fun.
Like I said, I was hoping guys like that would step up to the plate and force their way into Allys plans.

There seemed to be a bit of hysteria about Peralta but he didn't deserve a red card.

I was working tonight so only caught the open all mic on the way home from about 70+ min.
No surprise when I heard the description of the second goal.
"Shocker from the Stranraer keeper. It was a long ball forward from McCulloch and the keepers made a mess of it and headed it against Daly who's just walked it in."
A long ball from McCulloch......never!

Yeah, how dare he set up a goal?

If long balls make goals then the more the merrier I say.
