The last 2 league champions have had 4 considerable strikers
City: Dzeko, Aguero, Tevez, Balo
United: , Rooney, Hernandez & Welbeck
Now both teams had at least 2 top bracket forwards with the others capable of filling in.
Next season we'll have
Giroud & Sanogo. I don't know how to call Pod's future but he never plays up top anyway. So we technically have only 2 main strikers. We'll need a top one and another decent one unless Theo is considered. The big games is what's on my mind... if we're chasing games our new striker may need support and Giroud has shown he can't turn up for them so we're going to need some kind of impact in those games it may be a big ask for Sanogo to really be a game changer.
I'd be grateful for 1 top striker of course but we'll need a new winger at least even considering Campbell's possible addition. Then Theo could count as an extra forward but unless one of our main players are on the bench there's rarely anyone bar Rosicky that fill me with confidence when coming on.... even with Podolski it can go 2 ways for him. We've brought on Park & Nicky B in situations when we've chased goals this year.
Maybe a new wide player alongside a forward but 2 attacking threats nevertheless

Striker
CB (assuming TV goes)
RB (assuming Sags goes)
GK (assuming Fabs and Viv go)
DM (an improvement on Arts and Flams)
Pacy wide attacker (assuming Pods goes)
2nd striker
2nd CB ( young prospect)

Young CB should be a tad higher, we've rode our luck this season but Sagna's capability to play central has helped if you assume he goes then 2 CB's are vital

Agree with that, although I'd like a young centre back to come in as third choice - for me, Zouma would have been - as the Mertscielny axis probably has 2/3 seasons before we need to start using other players alongside either of them.
How's Hayden doing? Liked the look of him when I've caught the under 21s and Arsene rates him, I know. Is he more likely to end up as a midfielder? If so, it won't be with us, I'd have thought.

Hayden more likely to be CM. Ajayi and Miquel would be next in line, although Pleguezuelo is starting to look good.
Import seems the best solution at this stage though.

I quite like Miquel he's pretty composed and a bit raw if he can be anything like Per in the future we'd have a good player on our books.
Lascalles from Forest is my favoured option though would love an English young defender

Superstar CF + Remy would be good business. Allows the superstar to settle as Remy is already PL ready.
Remy would replace Podolski who i think is on his way out Imo.
Also a new CB is required and a DM to replace the ageing Arteta.

A new keeper is paramount with Fab going and the loan signing not worked out in that department.
A new right back as Sagna for me has made his mind up and to be honest has been hit or miss for the last couple of seasons and is not getting any younger.
Unless we have a 4th choice centre back ready to step up from our reserves then that also needs to be addressed. Those 3 combined should not cost more than £15m and then a top class striker and wide attacker (Griezman, Shakiri comes to mind). As much asalso appreciate our lack of depth there we are still scoring goals. Those other areas for me would appear to be more critical as currently we will have Poldi and Theo who could fill in.
