They are losing at the moment to Liverpool 1-0 but boy are they playing some exciting stuff. Lallana has been different class today, some of his touches have been magnificent. Having said that, are their front four of Lallana, Rodriguez, Davis and Lambert any better than Mata Rooney Januzaj And Van Persie? No, on paper our front four are miles away better, but it's all about chemistry and football philosophy.
On one hand we have Pochettino, a young manager recently retired as a player imposing a style and flair among players far inferior than most teams around them in the league.
And on the other hand we have Moyes, who plays an outdated 4-4-2 system and insists on wingplay.
Southampton do not have traditional wingers, more inside forwards and this is where their full backs take advantage of the space opening up in front of them. Even when they get into crossing positions, the Southampton players look up and 9 times out of 10 will pick out a player in red and white stripes. We, however, aimlessly float a wishy washy cross so that the keeper and defence can easily deal with it.
Moyes has tried to implement his style and unfortunately it hasn't panned out. Either he should try another tactic with more ingenuity and guile or I'm afraid he needs to go.
I am still a Moyes 'IN' guy, although the majority of you lot on here seem to have turned to the dark side
Anyone watching Southampton?

Yes I feel depressed everytime I watch United play, but I still have that tiny microscopic glimmer of hope that somehow Moyes can turn it around if given time.

Pretty depressing watching midtable sides like Swansea and Southampton pass the ball better than we do.

Look at Suarez setting up Sterling just now. picked the ball up and created something out of nothing. When you talk about our strikers making chances you hear this tiresome excuse about midfielders.

I know a Moyesin guy who is just Moyes In hoping he can turn it around so he can gloat at those who want him gone. Won't be surprised if there are some like that on here.
I am confident though that his faith is misplaced

Yep, they did their team and fans proud by playing really well.
They did lose though, and Liverpool are now 2nd.

but if you nullify lallana as we did in the second half, it stops southampton playing.
good side and a manager that knows how he wants to play the game. can see spurs going in for him in the summer

That's my biggest problem with Moyes at the moment not the results but the style of play. Hopefully he can show us some positive signs between now and the end of the season.

He's been here 8 months, when will this magical event happen?
