first thought, whys flamini not playing?

that's the first thing I thought when I saw the line up yesterday, against one of the most physical teams in the premiership wenger decided to leave our most driven physical player with the most passion and fight flamini on the bench. good move. if I knew how to do a face palm smiley you would see one now.

wengers team selection gets more and more baffling as the season goes on, it would of been great to have seen a new striker in jan, I know we weren't able to get a world class striker, but someone who can put a shot on target would of been nice.

To think that when it looked like Gibbs would miss out, most favoured playing Sagna or Vermaelen at LB instead of Flamini because we'd need him in midfield against a physical side like Stoke...

Instead Wenger omits him which basically handed Adam free licence to run wild all afternoon.

In hindsight should have dropped wilshere for flamini, wilshere was pathetic yesterday

More disappointed to see Ox miss out. Flamini would have probably got himself sent off anyway.

Hard to imagine the ref would have sent off anyone yesterday judging by what he let Adam get away with.

viera was always a liability too get sent of but his passion inspired the team, flamini had more interest and fight sitting on the bench yesterday than our whole squad.

He would have sent off an Arsenal player if he had half a chance.

He could've sent off any one of our starting midfielders yesterday and no one would've noticed the difference.

Personally Wenger is putting too much stock into overloading the front line with midfielders.

I'd love it if he at least tried Ox and Gnabry in the same line-up with a midfield of Flamini, Cazorla, Ozil. It's overly attacking but I'd love to see it happen.
