Froch Groves @Wembley

http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/mar/02/carl-froch-george-groves-wembley-stadium

Hope Groves embarrasses the self proclaimed international superstar on the biggest stage.

Great news they've chosen Wembley , going to be tough to sell out though.

Maybe you've never boxed but froch was a desperate man, his legs were like tree trunks and it was his last flurry. After that groves would of IMO knocked him out. Groves had been duckkng out of danger the whole fight. Round 9 wouldn't of been any different.

^^I have ten years boxing experience and I think you are talking nonsense. If anyone looked like they were on tired legs, it was Groves.

Pointless chatting about what MAY have happened.....BiT........

Froch wlda gone on to stop him I feel......it was a shameful stoppage but Froch was getting to him.....and wlda been relentless as he knew points was a no go .....

Not at all, younger, more mobile in every round, quicker, and ducked out but the ref jumped on him, cute that people think coz of one flurry that froch would of knocked him out

Wasn't one flurry Nick, Froch had been getting to him for a few rounds. Groves was in big trouble before the ref ruoned the fight. I like Froch's arrogance. He backs it up in the ring and has been taking the hardest gights non stop gor 5 years.

Froch isn't easy on the eyes but he is very effective and tough as nails. One of the best chins in boxing.

No he hadn't if you watch the fight again I think froch gets him maybe round 7, but round 8 groves schools him the whole round, then groves is against the ropes for the 10 seconds in the 9th rest is history.
Do think anyone other than froch would of been finished by then though, his chin is one of the best.

No disputing the resolve and the chin on froch, but surely he can't/won't box like that again? Will certainly have to leave the arrogance at the door before he starts his training camp and adapt his style and tactics (if possible) or he's getting beaten. I don't think that performance by groves was a fluke or one-off by any stretch.
