Van Gaal/De Boer Partnership??

Just wondered what everyone`s thoughts on the above rumour were?

This isn`t a knee jerk "Moyes Out!" article, merely a reaction to the speculation over the weekend.

With louis van gaal leaving his post as national coach of holland after this summer`s world cup, he is being touted as "a potential replacement" for David Moyes, bringing frank de boer with him.

I think, should Moyes leave, it would be a very good appointment. Van gaal has experience and has achieved the top prizes as a club manager. Bringing in de boer, who also has started to forge a promising career with ajax, would give us continuity with the latter potentially taking over when van gaal calls it a day - presuming all goes well.

He`s manged and succeeded too, which is why i would welcome him.

He also doesn`t seem to take any shizzle, which is where Moyes seems to be lacking.

Van Gaal, who is stepping down from his national team role after the World Cup, said his next challenge could be in the Premier League. Asked ‘At Tottenham?’, Van Gaal replied: ‘Maybe Tottenham are coming.’

Van Gall has a reputation as a bit of a nutter, well known for laying down the law and falling out with players. I believe Bayern were glad to get rid of him. Do you think his style would work at United?

So does jose, so did Fergie. I'd rather have a manager who isn't scared to ruffle a few feathers.
