I would even say most Sunday league teams would moan about this pitch. It's no wonder players don't want to sign for us.
It's a good job that we did not spend a fortune on players in the summer because any GOOD player would not be able show how good they are on this pitch.
Come on Winkleman the pitch is a basic tool for a good player, and we can't blame the weather. after all it is a NEW stadium.

Could it also explain why so many of the team seem to spend half the season injured?
It seems ridiculous that the FA and the Government have stuck their nose in to all parts of the business, but there is no minimum standard for the pitch

Just read Robbo's comments on the Blades game, and he said the pitch is uneven and dry, so Winkie can't even use the excuse it was the rain that done it/

I bit further evidence that PW took his eye off the ball and tried to stretch it all a bit too far. If he doesn't want to re-lay it all, he should re-lay patches of it only we know about.
