Is unbelievable, bear, best start to the season I can remember, think we were all geared up for the usual struggle for points while we found our feet but pre-season seems to have prepared the team brilliantly and Adkins inspires confidence. Great time to live in Southampton! At least Saints Player will be helping you feel a part of it over there!

It is still very quiet on here, as you say - hoping it picks up!

Played really well against us and deservedly won (quite easily). i had a suspicion before the season started that you'd be at the top.

Good luck anyway. Always quite liked Soton, so no axe to grind with you.

I remember saying before the season that September looks a very tough month with 4 difficult games and would be happy if we could have a decent amount of points on the board by then, didn't expect 9 from 3 though!

Can't believe how well we've played scoring 9 goals as well. As for how far can we go, I think the best thing is to take it one game at a time at the moment, and to make sure we don't get on Adkins and the teams backs when we have a bit of a bad run, which we undoubtedly will at some point.


Great times to be a Saint though and enojying this season so much already !

Also like to add it was good to see great character after they brought it back to 3-2 we didn't panic, lose our game, just carried on playing football and got the points we deserved. Few years back we would of lost that game, as the Leeds fan above will know very well!

I totally disagree Saint-Ford. The best way to proceed would be to play 3 games at a time rather than just one - so that we can be finished by Christmas, then have a whole 7 months to train for the Premiership!

hey kate! actually getting the saints on the telly a bit more over here now, obviously the good starts getting good coverage on sky sports news which we get 3 times a day and the championship gets shown on fox soccer plus so i saw the leeds game, plus i believe theres more coming up. so yes id rather be back home for the season but its not a bad time to be a saint in new york!
