The Posh V The Railwaymen

Peterborough entertain Crewe (and, hopefully, the fans) this Saturday at London Road.

This is a must-win game reflecting what we need, and the quality of the opposition. 5-0 would be nice.

Psychiatrist Dr Steve Peters' book "The Chimp Paradox" is doing the rounds of the Liverpool and England dressing-rooms (at least, among those of the players that can read). Maybe it will result in the England team winning on penalties. Maybe too, it is needed in the Posh dressing-room.

C'mon the Posh - some intensity and tempo, please, on Saturday.

and some passion, too!

"chimp paradox" is fat Barry selling another autobiography??

Yes, TF, but his is called "The Fat Chimp Paradox" - guaranteed to make you miss penalties against Germany.

Thorney, I'm predicting a comfortable win for you against Crewe to get you back on track. Suarez to score. Possibly twice. At least the clubs immediately below you are flagging. We have the Franchise and badly need a win, but no Ranger and a few more too. At least little Pritchard should be back, it would be nice if he scored a sublime free kick like he did at their place (where we wuz robbed).

On another issue, I find it annoying that they are referred to as the 'Railwaymen'. We have a far more illustrious and significant railway history. Bill Bryson correctly described Crewe as 'the armpit of Cheshire'. I'd say he had it about right.

Good luck, Don, against the impostors. It's one you can definitely win, and it'll be good for you to have that good little fighter, Pritchard, back. Is Ranger injured? Because, he would certainly be up for it having won his court battle.

As for the Railwaymen. maybe it's because the only thing Crewe has are railway junctions, whereas Swindon has far more?

P.S. Why are you called the Robins - lots of robins?

P.P.S. UTP this afternoon!

That's better. 5-0 would have been even better, but we have a leaky defence. An entertaining game between two footballing sides. Preston won, unfortunately, so the catch-up continues.

Good win for you which should give you some momentum which is critical at this stage for the season. We lost in the 93rd minute, not that it matters because anything but a win was of little use. I can see us getting trounced by Wolves on Tuesday. Ranger is out for the rest of the season, we have no goal threat to speak of.

Robins because we've always played in red.
