Exactly WNM. Wenger cannot win trophies without spending money and it looks like he might not even win a trophy even after spending 42m on Ozil.

So how did he manage to Win 3 leagues and 4 FA Cup then??

it depends how you define success, if the only thing you judge it on is the number of trophies then that's up to you. the job of a manager is to get the most out of your resources so it's pointless comparing Arsenal and Chelsea equally, we're like polar opposites. you spent £1bn of oil money and we built a new stadium and tried to live within our means so it's all relative. I just said Moureen's never stayed with clubs that long or built a team in is career, brought through young players or managing teams on a budget.. so he's never proved he can do any of that.

Mourinho is always at clubs now where trophies are expected so it's a little harder for him to blood youngsters as much as wenger does because wenger is under no pressure to win at all. A top 4 finish has become a trophy for arsenal fans players and the manager whereas other clubs measure success with trophies. He has yet to create a team that wins a trophy since the move to emirates so proves he needs money to win just like any other manager and is no miracle worker like you suggest. Mourinho though won the cl with Porto with a negative net spend and has won trophies at every club he has been at. Mourinho with or without money is a better manager than wenger.

if jose took over Cfc as they were before romans money he would not be able to win the league with them maybe an odd cup here and there but not the league title he wouldnt.

there's bigger clubs than chelsea who always bring through youngsters.. Chelsea's just not that type of club and Mourinho's not that kind of manager. he cares about winning in the short term, doesn't last long at clubs and other managers believe in things like style of play, developing young players and build a philosophy at a club.
you mention trophies in every sentence so it must be the only way you judge success but for me spending 1 billion and then winning a few trophies isn't a huge achievement.. it's just to be expected like all the other sugar daddy clubs in Europe showed. and if it was all about trophies then Chelsea fans wouldn't still think highly of Ranieri.

Ok, enjoy your 4th place trophy with your 'style of play' and your 'young players' and 'philosophy'.
Leave the trophies to us.

i will enjoy it although the two aren't mutually exclusive anyway.. as Wenger showed in the past and most likely will do again now that we're on a more level playing field.
