How did he go from what he was at Reading to where he is now though? Injury...you don't suddenly go from being good at something to being awful

Ridiculous article. He can run all day if he wants and track back (making sure he's far enough away from anyone to avoid any physical contact) but if he's not prepared to show an ounce of bravery or commitment then what's it all worth ? I'll forgive anyone a lack of confidence, but a complete cowardly dereliction of duty is something else.

This article makes some sense to me. He has certainly been of more use defensively than in attack and that should not be ignored. Now that we're back at ER he needs to show what he do going forward.

My brother was an international 10k runner, and one of the best in the world.
After he retired he became our clubs part time coach, and played a few games when we were struggling with injuries to other players.
He could run further and faster than anyone on the pitch, and at times was a nuisance to the opposition, but that's where it stopped.
If Prozone had measured his stats the same facts would have come out, but he was more like someone on Prozac when he played.
