We need a win to stay within reach of the top 6 and to keep our season alive. So do they. It's an important game for both sides. I'm worried about the current lack of goal scoring threat in our side. I think we'll struggle but I was heartened by our performance at Crewe.
Thoughts?

This season has gone. Cooper hasn't a clue. He makes excuses about the players being young but we are threequarters through & they are getting worse, not better. They have had the chance to get experience since August last year. How much time does it need?
And, can we expect the same next season?

Sorry to hear of your result. Extra time wins are always lucky. Unfortunately, you were on the receiving end of the bad luck. You need, I think, to start buying rather than just rely upon borrowing good players, to provide the sound foundations for a promotion push. I suspect that Cooper's hands are tied in this respect.

Thorny, you are quite right. If all of our loan players go back to their clubs, then we will have to start again from scratch. A wasted season. My moan tho', is that Cooper had these guys from the start, and, even if he was not the man to sign players, his credentials are in coaching what he has got. It hasn't worked.
He blames their youth & inexperience, but they have had 3/4 of a season to learn. And the way that we concede goals late in the game indicates that they are not fit enough. So what value is Cooper? He can't go & buy a player, he can't coach the ones he's got, but I guess he was the cheapest option.
