Why does everyone expect some sort of miracle at Leeds United?
They were once a great club but you have to go back to the 70's since they were considered one of Europe's power houses. Yes they flirted with success in the 90's but lets be honest we're a Championship mid table shower of sh*te at best.
I can't understand why people are calling for Brian's head. Ask yourself seriously... did you expect promotion? How many teams replace their manager and go on to form some kind of success in such a short space of time? Maybe 1 or 2 but that's when they have money to burn.
We have had more managers than I care to recall and I think none have had long enough to stamp their tactics or ideas onto the team. On top of this we can't seem to get the players we want (as fans) because of our high wage bill and in my opinion the manager needs 2 or 3 years in order to turn this team around.
They are arguably one of the best followed teams in the Country if not Europe but collectively I believe we have to consider that we are no longer a big club.
It breaks my heart to say it but I've stopped believing in Leeds United. Each season is met with renewed optimism but time and again I'm let down.
We can write this season off that's for sure but lets give Brian the summer to release deadwood and bring in players he thinks can deliver promotion and players that want to come and play for Leeds United because quite frankly apart from Ross McCormack who else is bothered.

Are you a fan of the film "The life of Brian"? Do you think he's the Messiah? Has he just been a naughty boy recently?
He's done nothing of note. Nothing. Nice is about as much as people can offer up in his defence. Nice.
He's proving to be a liability.

He has done something of note, he won a championship title

Really. When did we do that then? Last time we won something Grayson was the manager. Have I been in a coma?

He has experience in this division and when the club is stable he'd do well in the job

Admire your optimism. You're essentially describing Warnock. What went wrong there? More titles, more experience.
McDermott has made too many mistakes of his own making. Backing is irrelevant when it comes to performances like yesterday. "Didn't see it coming" he said in defence. We look like we're going to lose every time we play, that can't be right. That's not the backing from the board. That's the manager and HIS players.

Results recently have been down to low confidence in the players, that isn't Brian's fault, in this case the blame has to lie squarely at the feet of the fans. Simple as

Heard it all now. The fans are to blame.
So, if we have an empty stadium then the problem will solve itself? If that's the case let's keep McDermott because if we carry on in the same vein as recent form, crowds will be disappearing as quickly as our lofty position.
Blame the fans.
Thank you, first smile of the day!

No, I think that the fans in the stadium should get behind the players instead of applauding sarcastically when someone's substituted

Sidestepped the Warnock point and blamed the fans instead.
Can't take you seriously mate. Players earn enough money to take the flack. Simple really.

Cos I didn't see that argument coming
The pundit on the radio said that Kebe would be thinking that he'd had a bad game and that was justification for the fans actions
No. That's ridiculous. If he knows he's played badly the last thing he needs is for 28000 people to tell him that and to shatter his confidence
