Forget the injuries. I'm more than aware of who's missing & how influential there impact is on the team.
What i saw today was totally unacceptable. The players looked like they lacked determination and the drive to succeed. I have to put this blame on the managers door. Constantly banging on about who's missing and how important they are in the team is a valid reason, yes! But it's also very de grading and a right kick in the mush to the current crop who are match fit. They're playing like a second fiddle team, because thats how there being made to feel. I would like Davies to motivate these players and make them believe that they can win football games. I can take being beaten by a very good Burnley side. I can also take being beaten by a very well organised Wigan, with a bit of momentum behind them. But what i won't stand for is a lack of effort ( Halford, Fox, to name a few ) against bottom of the league. We created very little. And ended up throwing Lascelles up front for the final five. We set up not to lose ( as always ). Cox up todd on his own, only works when we've got the creativity of Lansbury, Reid & Vaughan in the middle of the park. For tuesday night .... Jara needs to be reverted back to right back. Put Moussi in the middle with Raddy. And play two up top with Cox & Hendo. It's just the basics. And we're just not doing them.
Today.

soooo.....
thats a....
Twist?
but yea, its not working, especially if your throwing a U21 CBs forward. They're getting poor service as it is so im sure taking one away from midfield wont hurt. We can atleast get some jara-mackie interplay going off if he goes RB, get some service up front, and pato can create on his own pretty much.

Davies is proven at this level, doesn't make him immune to criticism but look at the year and a half or so he was gone. Relegation fodder and got through 4 managers, all awful with the exception on SOD. Everyone needs to get behind them. Not been lower than 5th in months and people are panicking. It's a blip. As a result of injuries. Davies wouldn't accept lack of motivation from his players. One thing he can't be criticised for is not extracting application out of the players.
If the season is a right off cos of injuries then nobody is to blame. Just one of them things.

It's OK. Davies, as advised by his lawyer?!? doesn't have to explain this shower.

Here is a thought-Are the players in the team who have a chance of selection for the World Cup with their respective countries taking it a little easy and are concerned with not getting injuries?...
