Does anyone else notice how every time an English player does something right, they are literally lauded throughout the game and are a shoe in for Man of the Match? There are only two players in the England team who I genuinely think are top quality players and are bang on form, they are Sturridge and Gerrard.

cahill has grown into quite a player imo

Along side Terry..go figure.

ive always felt terry benefitted more from his partners than the other way around

he's been paired with class for almost all his career

he's quality but i don't think he was ever the strongest part of a pairing

I'd say they learnt from him.
