Referee Michael Oliver

...was atrocious on Saturday. All game long he was trigger happy - every touch on an opponent (both ways) was given as a foul, and every other foul seemed to produce a yellow card. In a game that was innocuous from a physical point of view, five yellows and a red was a massive over reaction by him. The soft pen and ridiculous red card killed the game as a spectacle and summed up his refereeing. He completely spoiled the flow of the game.
Although it won't help much, I hope we are going to appeal Kaboul's red?

Penalty was fair enough - red card was too much.

Remember the Suarez dive against Spurs at Klanfield last season? Well, Oliver was the referee on that occasion also..
