IF Arsenal wins the FA Cup
Arsene Wenger will collect his 5th FA Cup trophy and will be the 2nd highest in history shared with Alex Ferguson.
George Ramsay is the most successful winning 6 FA Cups in 42 years in late 19th and early 20th century.

For a team that has been consistently in the Top 4 of English football for the last 10-15 years, I would say one FA Cup in 8 years is failure.
Also, while Arsenal fans may be wetting themselves with excitement thinking the cup is in the bag already, as yesterday showed anything can happen and Sheffield United, Wigan and Hull would all fancy their chances against you

Thats a very good point;
So assuming Arsenal even win the cup, 1 trophy in 8 years is still very bad.
But Liverpool have only won 1 cup(league cup) in 8 years and considering they are the 2nd biggest club in English football history, why arent they also considered failures?!?!?

100% agree but the difference is, is that we are Arsenal and people want us to fail.
Spurs are the same as Liverpool and BOTH have not even won the League in 20 or 50 years but they are considered brilliant teams where as Arsenal are failures..........

Liverpool have been a failure for the past 30 years nevermind 8. They will continue to be so long as they continue to not win the league.

I know its ridiculous, but i just wanted to hear what the blackburn fan has to say for himself considering he brought it up.
Spurs are historically an average team anyway so their lack of success is normal.
But Liverpool have no excuse either

Are we not? The CL in 05 and the FA cup in 06 are the last proper trophies we have won, I'd consider that failure considerign the money we spent a few seasons back. But after the internal restructure and appointing Rodgers we now have a firm spine in terms of off the pitch on now on it too so hopefully we can start to really develop into a good squad that can mount a challenge in Europe and domestically.

This was not meant as a swipe at Liverpool, its just that opposing fans seem to jump on Arsenal 8 or 9 years without a trophy but ignore other teams.
Take Blackburn.....when was the last time they won anything....1992 wasn't it ? and that was because they had the finance and Shearer..,...what is that ?? 22 years ? and a Blackburn fan has the gaul to laugh at us ?
Liverpool are used as they are deemed far better then us in receint years but since 2006 they have only won the League cup.........no offence kneerash......its was just used in reverance

It doesn't help that your club charges one of the most expensive (if that the most expensive) ticket prices in England.
