Up until this day I thought it was widely acknowledged that Oscar dominated the early rounds thanks to great work with the jab and from the mid rounds onwards Floyd began to negate the jab and take over. However after speaking to the resident boxing guru Kamran it appears that this general view of how the fight went is not actually what happened and it was infact Oscar who dominated the middle rounds looool
After watching the fight several times and live (unlike our resident guru) the best I can score the fight in favour of Oscar is 8-4 to Floyd. With Floyd winning 7 rounds clearly Oscar winning 2 and 3 being tight either way
Please share your thoughts????
Ps: Kamran don't be shy post your scores mate
How Did You Score The Oscar-Floyd Fight????

Kamran called chicken ++++ on you and posted your views on this thread http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=630938&page=3
Surprisingly nobody seems to follow a boxing guru like yourself's trail of thought on the fight with the view of limited knowledge poster like myself being the general view
I in particular like this comment
Respectfully, if you just started watching boxing 6 months ago, how can you tell if ODH won the rounds or not? Do you know how to properly score a round?
Will update later hopefully they become more aligned to your boxing guru view of the fight in time

most people on there have Floyd winning 8-4 or 7-5 you donkey, still nobody has disagreed about Oscar winning the middle round
Even after all that effort, you still can't get people to agree with you.
Utterly embarrassing, you must be raging

The general consensus of the fight was that Oscar was having success with the jab early, until he stopped throwing it. I personally can't remember much more than Floyd being the fairly clear winner. It was a garbage fight and I am not gonna go out of my way to re-watch it.

Maybe if you are suffering from insomnia it could be useful, plenty of other Floyd fights to choose from though.

Close until round 7ish from what I remember then Floyd took over, I had him winning by 4 rds by the end, not close in the end but very competitive at times

This ain't the amateurs diamond, punches landed is not the scoring system.

No but 80 punches is still to much more to lose

I had it close...........115-113 Mayweather.........Like usual Oscar didn't do enough......It was there for him to win..
Oscar's legend could be so much better........coasting against Trinidad cost him when he should have made sure of that one...Though I thought he won it....
He allowed them an excuse to give it to Felix...
Oscar was his own worst enemy....Great fighter though.
