2014 FIA Formula One Season

Hi Guys, sorry it's been a long time since I've posted an article, been caught up in university work, including campaigning to be part of the sabbatical team of my university! Election day is tomorrow so I quite literally am doing ANYTHING to take my mind off the stress haha!

Preliminary opening, I hope you're all well and your minds rested over the Christmas period, well, as rested as they can be following the extremely intriguing testing period, and the extremely unfortunate event that has left our much-loved Michael Schumacher in a serious condition, all the best to the Schumacher family at this time and to Michael himself on the best recovery possible!

However to the main point, I am deeply intrigued by how this season can play out, obviously they say Hamilton may be favourite for the WDC and Mercedes for the WCC, they also say testing can't be read into too much. But this is something different, it's a new feeling going into the hybrid era and I just cant call it knowing Red Bull have the financial resources. What do you all think of the new season?

My final points:
- Mercedes engines looking dominantly reliable which will be paramount for the first half of the season!
- Hamilton and Rosberg look happy, Alonso and Raikkonen look like they're quietly confident yet cautious, Vettel is raging yet Ricciardo is just happy to be in a better car!
- Williams' new livery is absolutely gorgeous!
