I know he gets sponsers etc but he also gets ppv bonuses aswell! I wouldn't say he's bigger than Floyd though but is a close 2nd!

The tv in China would've only sold due to the undercard fight that had the Olympic gold medalist in!

Personally he's amazing to watch and better viewing than Floyd, but his undercards are horrendous!

I see now that the Marquez will get winner of manny vs Bradley! Why don't they offer Floyd money

Pacquiao is known world wide and the major sponsor want him to promoter their brand. Mayweather can't get a major sponsor and has cried about it several times, screaming racism.

Mayweather fight would not have sold as well with the major fights they had on the card as well, including Canelo who is a PPV fighter in his own right and the most eagerly awaited fight in years at 140lbs Garcia vs Matthysse as well as many other popular stars.

You yourself pointed out the great undercard on the Pacquiao vs De La Hoya card.

Undercards should be about showcasing new stars in the making. The main event should be the fight of the night, which is rarely the case in Mayweather bouts.


And you know as well as I do, Floyd doesn't want it.
If he does, all he has to do is say and Manny will make it happen.

And 450-500k PPV in American alone is worth over 30 million.

The fight generated well over 60 million IMO
