I feel like its been ages from the last time united played well and open football. The last time i can remember a good attacking display was this match. Good flowing football. Shame about the result

They might be the best partnership, but you could make the argument for any of Falcao, Cavani, Ibra, Benzema, RVP, Rooney, Lewandowski, Costa (not to mention Ronaldo and Messi) being better than Suarez, and obviously better than Sturridge.

These scousers really are getting giddy -
Anyone would think they've been at the forefront challenging for titles over the last 20 years

you could but it would be a biased one as none of them have the strike rate, work rate or assists of suarez.
As for sturridge...why exactly, are they "obviously" better? sturridge again, has a better strike rate than most, if not all, of those players

Maybe if he does it consistently.
Plus a lot of them players have technical ability that Sturridge can only dream of.

Nani was immense that game.

This is a very good example of the understanding that Rooney and Welbeck have with each other.
Welbeck's approach play in this game was excellent.
What a shame we were so gung-ho even at 4-2 ahead.

you've obviously never watched sturridge then
funny how you cant defend the suarez claim...particularly when your own "hero" rates him as top 3 in the world

Suarez is a great player.
Sturridge is not.

I think as a club, we are very happy with our "not great" striker.
thats the problem with the modern football fan...always blinded by the lights of the foreign footballer
