What were the odds that both timers on this website would eventually end during the same season?
I can't believe that there is a strong possibility of Arsenal winning a trophy and Gerrard lifting the title this season.

Arsenal and Gerrard

I would say this as a gooner and I know it is 2005 since they last won anything, but Arsenal apart from the 60's have won trophies in every decade. If they win the FA Cup or less likely the league, it won't be a surprise.
To anyone over 50,7-8 years without a trophy wasn't a shock even for a major club when I was growing up. Liverpool from 66-73 is an example as is Man Utd 68-7, not including the old Second Division. I can always tell the opposition fan is under 50 when they scoff at 9 years without a trophy.

9 years without a trophy when you're charging fans an absolute fortune to go to every game, and banging on about being on of the biggest teams in the world, is a different matter entirely.
