It has been well publicised in the media this week that TBR manager and part time member, Barry Smith, is seeking a big money move away from the club and site. The member is yet to turn up to commenting this week.
As I write this, the TBR board are preparing a statement, likely to be released at around the time this article is published.
Want away Smith is thought to be close to signing a big money contract at fierce rivals Tracking Back Town (not606). Barry has expressed his desire to join the bitter rivals, saying the more physical, aggressive, primitive football/debating style at non606 is much more suited to his style.
After seeing their record comment scorer shun a new contract at TBR (ja606), club director Adam Minto the first of internetshire had this to say last night:
"We have received no formal offer for Barry, and we expect him to be commenting on the record and feedback threads as usual tomorrow morning"
This triggered an attack on the club/site by Smith on his Twitter account (one of many tweets):
"@barrysmith I feel that non606 are a bigger club, with more ambition. I feel I have more chance of winning 5 stars there"
The deal seemed to be near completion late last night until it seemed to hit a snag. Barry Smith's agent however, hit back on Twitter:
"@Barrysagent reports that Barry Smith has failed a personality test at not606 are unfounded"
After last night's revelations, Barry Smith has been forced to comment away from the rest of the members today. Admin1 hoping that it will teach him some humility x_x
TODAY'S PAPER TALK:
"Smith won't track back on decision" (The Times)
"Twaat's Tweet insight into sites's sh**e contract" (The mirror)
"Dog eats own head because of Smith outburst" (The Sun)
"Increase in immigrants onto site forces Smith out" (Daily Mail)
The transfer saga continues

Oh dear barry.Looking at the proposed Not606 move I can say that theres no interest or indeed replies to your articles so you"d be on the bench if not the shelf.SW likewise for now but with application you may depose nolhman as head wum which imo would be an improvement.Leave it to the january wum window before any rash moves.

News is reaching us of angry fans burning grey track suits with Barry Smith's name on outside TBR's ground, The Dirt Track.
A spokesman for TBR said
"We urge all fans to stay calm at the stage. We want to thanks Barry Smith for his contribution in getting us this far, but it's now time to move to a higher level. We are confident that we can sign several better, more attack-minded posters before the transfer window closes. The future looks bright."
TBR are expected to launch a new orange strip soon.
