Against Arsenal, Liverpool have a large number of midfielders who could start (in stark contrast to our defence, where perhaps Soto may play..)
Any of Adam, Lucas, Meireles, Aquilani, Downing, Suarez (Striker I know but likely to play out wide, if not too exhausted), Maxi could start, as to be honest Henderson just isn't good enough yet to start for us away at the Emirates and I'd rather Kuyt came on at 60 mins for impact.
This article basically assumes Carroll starts up top alone, as 442 is usually a disaster for us, and ignores Reina and the defence!
Personally I'd go for a 4-1-2-3
.....Lucas....
Aqua...Meireles
..Maxi..Carroll..Downing.
Personally I just think Adam isn't at his most effective in a high tempo game, but could be useful coming on at 60 mins plus, along with Kuyt, and, Suarez, who, if not exhausted, should start, but if he is too tired, I'd like to see a start for Maxi, who, as I read elsewhere provides great link up.
Feel free to disagree as much as you like, but anything offered that suggests starting Henderson at The Emirates will be deleted on principle.

I wouldnt even have Herderson on the bench against goons. I would also start kelly ahead of Flanno and Kuyt ahead of Maxi. I would have Suarez( if fit to play) inplace of Raul.

I'd start with Suarez over Maxi.

Big game so we need experience and organisation.
Johnson - Carra - Soto - Enrique
--------- Lucas ---------------------
----------------------Adam---------
Kuyt ------------------------Downing
----------------Suarez (free role)---
----------Carroll------------------------

Actually I'd have Meireles in instead of Adam as he is more mobile and box to box.

I'd also be tempted to start Adam over Meireles, but I'm not sure. I think it'll be a very tight game and could be decided on a set piece; I think Adam will offer more at set pieces.

I hope to god you start Adam and not Meireles.

@R Hoody
Isn't that quite similar to what we had vs Sunderland, just with Kuyt instead of Henderson, and Johnson instead of Flanno, both improvements, but with a worse CB pairing? Just if it wasn't good enough home vs Sunderland, I can't see the same idea working away in Arsenal
