This time last season, David Moyes' Everton had 48 points from 29 games, having scored 46 goals & conceded 35
I've never heard of a manager reaching his 'peak', however....
Interesting Moyes stat - EFC vs MUFC

Last season, he didn't have the headache of mid-week CL games to think about.

Well that won't be a problem much longer, so I reckon this time next season he'll have us at least challenging for those prestigious Europa league places.

A clear indication of someone showing their level.
I can only assume that Utd board meetings are carried out in a padded cell for their safety in the event of a riot breaking out during discussions.

29 games and 48 points, that's less than 2 points a game.
Someone sack this man, do it now!

The guy who gave David moyes a 6 year contract should be banned from all clubs activities. The biggest shambles of a decision.

True, but you could argue that he's got better players, bigger squad etc..
It does beg the question (as Benched (U7195 alluded to) can a manager have a level of performance regardless of the resources available to him?

Shoots,
Picture yourself in a VW Golf. You're pretty handy in it and like to put the shoe down when you can on your local roads.
You win the lotto and discover you can't go any faster on your local roads in your new Lamborghini without coming off the road and bursting into flames.

.............
This is why I don't go along with this 'he must be given time' mularkey.
There is no evidence out there anywhere that he can go beyond Everton.
