Whole back 4 and 3 key midfielders missing today. With 7 genuine first team players missing anyone would struggle. Granted he's made mistakes but there are extenuating circumstances. Obviously today hurts but replacing him means a large overhaul of the squad as any new manager will insist on new signings and you're back to square one, no continuity etc.
It ain't fair to judge anyone with so many players missing. Not fair at all.
Fawaz needs to sort out the lack of communication from Billy as he is accountable to the fans. People talking about Mackay are in fantasy land. He ain't settled his contractual situation out with Cardiff. Davies also has a record which stands up to Mackays. We need stability. Short termism is a recipe for disaster and financial ruin. I'd stick with him until at least December next year. Look at his track record over 'years' not the last half dozen games when he ain't got a side to put out.
Solidarity required fellow reds.
Keep the faith.

Laudrup come on be serious. This is a man who will get a job at one of the top European clubs next season.
Di Matteo is pretty far fetched too.
Clarke and Mackay are good options.

Strett.
Back 4 at the start of the season. lechaj, Hobbs Wilson, Cohen. We were solid as a rock.
Vaughn although we didn't play much when he did he had the ability to control the pace at which we play at. Reid and Landsbury speak for themselves. Also Davies has another four years n his contract. Presumably on £1million plus a season. To get rid of him would therefore cost eat last £3m- £4m including back room staff. Who pays for that? Fawaz? If so surely that cash is better off spent elsewhere? Player or ground improvements Rather than sacking a guy just because he ain't your cuppa tea. Looking to play the blame game instead of just accepting circumstances have contrived against us.

Mani, that is spot on. It would be financial madness to sack Davies. Do people want Forest to be back in the situation where they have to sell their best players for peanuts just to balance the books?
I think getting a decent DOF in to help Fawaz to get the club moving in the right direction will be the key decision of the next few months. Frank Clark would have been ideal but, unfortunately, Fawaz made a mistake there.
Think everyone needs to calm down a bit and trust in Fawaz at the end if it all. He has always maintained that his overall plan is a three to five year vision. Yes, he is as excitable as any of us fans and that may cloud his judgement and opinions at times but let's just ride out this storm and help get things back on track by. It over reacting to every little sat back like an audience on Jeremy Kyle.

What point are you trying to make?
Financial madness to sack Davies????
Financially it would be better to get promoted, not spend £10m staying in the championship.
