r.i.p frank munro

a friend of my fathers died today after a short illness.played for dundee united,celtic aberdeen and wolves.

Just read his Wiki page, he bravely battled illness
for almost a decade. News like this puts football
into perspective.

He was a very good player who would have got a lot more caps had it not been for the fact that we managed to produce some top class defenders during his playing days. he would be a permanent fixture in the Scotland team these days.
I remember he was not just a solid defender, but he also passed the ball very well, and could read the game very well. He played in a very good Wolves team.
Very sorry to read of his death.

Am I right in thnking he featured in the run in to the 78 season title?

It went to the last game OF head to head on a Monday night. aka the Johnny Doyle game?

he played a few games that season quinn yes.played in the very first uefa cup final too.i have not seen him since i was about 12 13.rip.
