First 11
- Shezza
- New RB (hope Sagna stays though)
- Mert
- Kos
- Gibbs
- New CDM
- Rambo
- Theo
- Ozil
- New Winger
- New Striker
Bench
Cazorla, Wilshere, Rosicky, back up CB, back up GK, Ox, Giroud
I expect Podolski and Vermaelen to leave which is a shame because we're on the verge of a solid challenging squad. Its inevitable that we will get a million long term injuries so we need atleast 6 signings from which 4 are starters. If TV5 does go, id like him to be replaced by a versatile young defender who can cover in various positions. By losing TV5 and potentially Sagna, we lose versatility in our squad as both could cover CB and full back positions.
Team for next year

Since when has Wenger/board replaced departing players adequately and recruited where needed the players that an really push us that step further in the last 10 years?
I see no reason why this summer will be any different. Last summer we needed a striker and we did not buy. In January we needed a striker and bought Kallstrom
We will always be just a couple of players away from being a world class team and challenging regularly for the CL and PL.
Problem is, to take that little step further requires a whole lot more money and the board and Wenger just simply are not prepared to do it as they are clearly happy with 4th and maybe a domestic cup as a bonus but not a necessity.
And that's the real problem and the real shame for us fans.
And it will not change unless you either get someone like Usmanov to run the club and provide investment or Wenger replaced.
Neither of which will happen unless we finish outside the top four and that will eventually happen if we keep going the way we are.

to me its like we set out to lose mentally vs the big teams like todays result wenger & team probably thought a loss isnt bad as we had beaten spurs but get 3 points vs Swansea & all is good again & a draw vs City is a bonus.

Wenger is a reactive manager not a proactive one
He will only sign a player when he is forced to
He was never going to be proactive and sign a striker
